Monday, March 16, 2009 - SAN ANTONIO, TX : The AT&T Center

source: WWE.com - The show started with a recap of happenings from last week. And we get a look back at Wrestlemania15, March 28, 1999 where Pete Rose, dressed as the Chicken, attacked Kane but ate a tombstone. Bart Gun faced off in a boxing match with Butterbean and Butterbean knocked him out in the first round. Vince went crazy and bought in the Rock. Austin came in to take the Rock him down. They fought all over the arena before Austin put the Stunner to Rock for the win then turned around and stunned Vince! Austin then dumped beer all over Vince in the ring.

In-ring: Suddenly, there looked to be a ton of men in the ring. And at ringside! What's going on? It's a Six-man tag match! Grapplers as guest commentators! Holy Shillelaghs and Shamrocks! Where was the hype?

MARK HENRY (w/Tony Atlas) & KANE & U.S. champion SHELTON BENJAMIN vs. KOFI KINGSTON & C.M. PUNK & MVP

Hornswoggle, Finlay, and Christian (HOO HOO! CHRISTIAN IS BACK!!) were on commentary for the match. All this potential star power in the ring and they don't hype it pre-match or even allow for a pre-match intro? oookey-doke . . Henry beats Kofi down in a corner. Kofi tries to fight back and gets a foot up, but MVP tags in and hits a dropkick on Henry. Kane tags in and beats down MVP in a corner. Kane whips MVP but then a drop toe hold to Kane in the corner. All the Good Guys and Heels rush in and they argue. Punk points up at the briefcase.

Back from commercial, Kane is working over Kofi. We are shown a clip of what happened during the break when Kane dropped Kofi with a huge boot to the face. Kane hits a big slam now for a 2 count on Kofi. Shelton comes in now and continues the assault on Kofi. Shelton hits a big belly to belly suplex and keeps control over Kofi. Kofi finally tags in Punk who comes in off the top and lays out Shelton. Punk with a big kick off the ropes and the big running knee in the corner followed by the bulldog for a 2 count as Kane makes the save.

At ringside, Christian said he was away from WWE for a little bit, but he's returning re-focused and ready for a run as a WWE champion after winning Money in the Bank. Christian said he came back for a title run and it's not a matter of when. Horny was trying to blow him off, so Christian shot back that he'll get his cookie later.

Meanwhile, Kofi and Kane end up on the floor. Chaos ensued, MVP sends Henry to the floor and hits Shelton from behind. CM Punk catches Shelton with the Go 2 Sleep for the pin and the win as Christian vowed to win MITB, then cash it in, and win a WWE Title. MVP, Kofi, and Punk stood tall center ring and stared up at the briefcase hanging above the ring.

WINNERS: Team Punk at 8:36. Fine six-man tag match. Christian was a little shaky on commentary, but he had his moments.

WWE ECW on SciFi

Black 'n Red 'n Worms All Over

Tuesday, March 03, 2009 - BOSTON, MA

source: WWE.com - As the rocky Road to the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania took another unpredictable turn through the Land of the Extreme, one Superstar felt the surprising sting of defeat, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match got a lot stronger, and a haunting predator became the haunted prey.

In a monster match nearly as scary as Kane’s movie See No Evil - which makes its Sci Fi premiere this Saturday at 9/8 CT - the Big Red Machine returned to the Land of the Extreme to battle Boogeyman.

It's a scene straight out of anyone's nightmares of Hades - The Hell-fires of Kane followed by the billowing noxious darkness of the bottomless pit of the Boogeyman. Once Boogey is in the ring, Kane appears to want some of his worms which Boogey obligingly hands over. Kane scrutinizes then tosses them and rewards Boogey with a hard uppercut. Kane puts Boogey in the corner and roughs him up, a few blows, followed by a snap mare and drop kick for an early near cover. Kane sets up an elbow drop with a body slam, but Boogey rolls away and Kane gets nothin’ but mat. Boogeyman uses this to slam Kane in the corner, but on his second run, Kane hits him with a forearm, and out of the ring. The two men start trading blows, leading to Boogeyman going up top, but as the frightening creature from the Bottomless Pit hurled himself off the top rope, tasting the very worms of victory in his mind’s eye, Kane suddenly caught him by the throat and delivered a massive chokeslam for a simply frightening victory.

The convincing win came just one day after Kane captured a spot in the WrestleMania Money in the Bank Match. And if his display was any indication of what the WWE Universe will witness on The Grandest Stage of Them All, Kane's seven opponents could be in very big trouble.

Rey works free, Kane takes a tumble and Mysterio turns around into Knox. Knox tosses Rey over the top to the floor before getting decked and rammed into the corner by Kane. Knox and Kane simultaneously hit each other with big boots and go down while Rey is still out on the floor . . . Fade to commercial.

Rey takes Knox down with a head scissors move, runs the ropes and hits the big bulldog. 2 count by Rey on Knox. It really looked like a three count. Knox picks Rey up with a big side slam and gets a 2 count of his own. Knox picks Rey up on his shoulder but Rey slides out with a big DDT but Kane comes in to stop the pin. Rey drops Kane face first into the turnbuckle and kicks off Knox. Knox throws Rey through the air and he lands on Kane.
