KANE at Spooky World!

After a two-year stint in the graveyard, the HallowScream attraction returns with a new owner, look and home beginning Oct. 6, 2006.

Of the many attractions offered, KANE, who last appeared to lend a scare in October of 2002, will be the featured Saturday evening fright on Oct. 28th! Either delectably wicked persona is sure to get your adrenaline pumping enough to scarry you through Halloween!

Spooky World will materialize every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October, starting at 6:00pm, with matinees at 1:00pm Saturdays and Sundays. Bayside Exposition Center, the new haunt, is located at 200 Mount Vernon Street, Columbia Point in Boston. Admission is $24.50 for adults, $18.50 for kids 12 years old and under. KANE cut down in No DQ match

27OCT2006:   Scottrade Center, St. Louis - Though Mr. Kennedy showed he could take it one chin from a monster like KANE,  it took underhanded interference from MVP to get him a win against KANE on SmackDown!  MVP had been booked for this bout but used his contract’s 'sick clause' ~ guess he was scared sick ~ to dodge another beating from KANE.

Backstage we see MVP looking lousy. GM Long comes in and asks him what's wrong and MVP says he's not feeling 100%. Long says MVP's got a match - more than a match - it's a no disqualification matchup against KANE. MVP says he's got an intestinal virus and is utilizing the sick clause in his contract. Long is sorry that he ever agreed to that in the contract but he has to deal with it. MVP's cellphone goes off, he says it's his agent and walks off talking on the cell. As Long considers what to do Kennedy wanders in saying he's been looking for Long. Kennedy wants something for the people, something special for a match up. He wants the UnderTaker 'mano a mano' tonight - it's what the people deserve. Long says Kennedy has come in with a whole lot of bravado knowing that UnderTaker isn't in the house tonight. But since Kennedy wants a big match up - something special for the people - he's making a match up for Kennedy to fight against KANE in the no disqualification match. Kennedy looks like he's been told he's only got seconds to live. Cole and JBL discuss that very point as the cameras go back out front.

Back from commercial Tony Chimel announces the stipulations for the match before KANE takes his entrance. He enters the ring and sets off the ring post pyros. Mr. Kennedy now makes his way to the ring with a heavy tread.

Match 3: KANE vs. Mr. Kennedy in a No Disqualification Match

Both wrestlers circle each other boxing style before Kennedy lashes out with his foot catching KANE high in the leg with little or no effect. Kennedy repeats the kick again and again as they continue to circle but on the third kick KANE responds with a big right uppercut sending Kennedy reeling. As KANE approaches Kennedy lashes out with an elbow catching KANE by surprise and putting him in a headlock. KANE breaks it by whipping Kennedy into the ropes and taking him down with a shoulder block. Kennedy begs for KANE to stay off as he crawls into the corner. As KANE goes after him, Kennedy tries to kick him in the chest but KANE just grabs his leg and yanks him in for another big right. KANE picks Kennedy up and rams his head into the turnbuckle then gives him another big right followed up with a big back elbow then a hip toss. Totally in command, KANE whips Kennedy hard across the ring into the opposite corner leaving Kennedy staggering about into KANE's hands. KANE picks him up by the throat to nonchalantly throw him to the canvas. Kennedy tries to crawl out of the ring but KANE grabs him before he makes it. KANE kicks Kennedy on the apron then picks him up for a suplexe over the ropes back into the ring before going for a pin to get a two count.

KANE pulls Kennedy up for an Irish whip across the ring to follow up with haul up for a tombstone, but Kennedy manages to wiggle out behind KANE delivering a kick into his hamstring slowing the monster down. Kennedy now bounces off the ropes right into a vicious clothesline from KANE! Another whip into the corner followed by a strong arm shot to the head has Kennedy dazed, but he rallies enough to deliver a big boot to KANE's face which stuns the Big Guy. KANE returns a big boot, Kennedy ducks and KANE finds his right leg tangled up over the top rope. Before he can detangle himself from the ropes, Kennedy comes in with kicks to the sore hamstring and KANE falls back into the corner as Kennedy stomps away on him 'til KANE rolls out of the ring.

Insanely, Kennedy goes after KANE who meets him with an uppercut that sends Kennedy reeling. KANE stalks but Mr. Kennedy grabs a handful of tights to ram KANE's knee into the steel steps then grabs a steel chair to further the damage. Before he can use it, KANE lands another uppercut and Kennedy staggers into the ring with KANE hot on his heels. KANE is met by a low dropkick to the midsection and he drops to the mat. Kennedy exits the ring, grabs KANE's leg and slams it against the steel ring post; grabbing up another steel chair he rams it into KANE's exposed knee against the ring post! KANE writhes, Kennedy rolls back into the ring, drags KANE over to the center and attempts the cover for a count of one.

As KANE tries to break out, Kennedy takes the advantage of his position ramming KANE's into the canvas then going for another cover for a two count. Kennedy continues his assault, but each blow seems to strengthen KANE as he rises to his feet. But Kennedy has the upper hand at this point battling KANE to the ropes where he locks KANE's leg in the ropes then bounces off the ropes to land a dropkick on the injured knee - KANE is in pain. Kennedy attempts another cover - gets a two count then goes to lock in a figure four leg lock but KANE uses his free foot to shove Kennedy away and through the middle ropes out onto the floor.

Kennedy climbs the ropes and launches himself at KANE into a big right uppercut as the crowd goes wild. Both men stagger to their feet, trading blows until Kennedy gains the advantage by kicking KANE's sore leg again, the one he's been working on all match. A shoulder block sends KANE in the corner, Kennedy charges in for another one only to be taken down by a vicious clothesline by KANE. Staggering to his feet, Kennedy is downed again with another clothesline. He gets to his feet again for an Irish whip followed by a back body drop and then a side slam. KANE mounts the top rope and out of nowhere MVP pops up behind him to shove KANE off and into the ring! KANE lands on his feet staggering back toward MVP, Kennedy to get to his feet and takes KANE down then jams a number of elbows to the knee as MVP cheers him on from outside the ring.

Kennedy climbs the ropes to attempt a moonsault on KANE only to meet the mat as KANE rolls deftly out of the way. MVP rushes the ring to meet KANE's fist as Kennedy stands. KANE sends Kenendy down again, turns to deliver an uppercut to MVP then turns about again to lam Kennedy back down to the mat once again. The crowd is raising the roof! KANE rids the ring of MVP, throwing him over the top ropes, Kennedy takes advantage of the distraction, kicking KANE in the knee twice 'til he turns around. Kennedy runs off the ropes again but this time meets the big boot to the face from KANE! KANE stalks Kennedy, grabs him up for the choke slam when MVP breeches the ring with a steel chair to blast KANE high in the back of his legs! KANE drops to his back bringing Kennedy with him - the ref sees Kennedy on top in pin position and begins the count! MVP rushes the ring again, holding Kennedy donw ontop of a struggling KANE! THREE! The pin is made! After a grueling match, Mr. Kennedy has defeated . . . KANE!

MVP hastily rolls out of the ring, Kennedy gets the heck out of Dodge, and KANE is left to sit in the ring body heaving in anger, frustration and pain. The glare KANE sends after MVP is hot enough to singe steel.

Later, GM Teddy Long makes his way onto stage to announce he is signing a match for next week's SmackDown! with MVP and Mr. Kennedy teaming up to go against KANE. His partner? None other than The UnderTaker! The already hot crowd set the rafters rumbling over this! For the first time in years the 'Brothers of Destruction' are teaming up on TV.

M.V.P. kicks out of KANE-ing

20OCT2006: Los Angeles, CA - Staples Center. The pumped up near capacity crowd is HOT as M.V.P. makes his way down the ramp. Recap of last week's surprise matchup between Porter and KANE ends with M.V.P. running for the back after a thorough trounce by the Big Red Machine.

M.V.P. gets on the mic and says he wasn't prepared for a matchup against KANE last week, and the only reason he left the ring was because he had something in his eye! Yeah! A couple of knuckles belonging to KANE! Fans are chanting "POWER RANGER" as Porter goes on to say he's ready this week for KANE, and this time the outcome will be different.

KANE walks out through the erupting fires of hell, larger than life and grim as the reaper, and the first match of the night is about to begin. In the ring, M.V.P. takes a shove at the ref before he can call for the bell, and goes at KANE with his fists thinking to catch him off guard. KANE pushes his opponent away only to have him come at him again to land a few right punches and get the same results. M.V.P. moves in again and KANE sends him crashing to the mat with a powerful right of his own. After getting his head slammed against the turnbuckle, another jarring right uppercut and an Irish whip across the ring, M.V.P. stumbles into KANE who picks him up for a slam, but Porter wriggles out over KANE's back to roll out the ring.

This week, KANE isn't willing to wait and see, he meets the disoriented M.V.P. on the outside with an uppercut then slings him back into the ring. As KANE enters the ring, M.V.P. drops an elbow but the Big Guy was ready and moved - M.V.P. met the mat. Now KANE drags him out of the ring and M.V.P. is giving a time-out signal!!! KANE stumbles over Porter's legs after that one grabs his trunks and pulls and KANE hits the steel steps knee first. MVP capitalizes on KANE's position, stomping on him before getting back in the ring before a count out. KANE is back in the ring before the count of 8, M.V.P. is waiting and goes on the offensive pounding KANE's back and working the injured knee with kicks and punches. Each punch and kick by Porter seems to rally KANE rather than keep him down, and when he finally gains his knees, he stops M.V.P., grabbing his boot in mid kick to follow-up with an uppercut. Porter resorts to raking at KANE's eyes - and here's where we get the promised 'different ending' from last week . . .

Instead of hightailing it out of the ring THIS time, M.V.P. kicks the back of KANE's leg, bringing him back down to one knee. M.V.P. does this weird little dance I've only seen on the playground then goes to bounce off the ropes only to be met by a Big Boot to the face from KANE. Before M.V.P. can recover, KANE sweeps him up for a side slam then exits the ring, climbs the ropes and jumps back in with a flying clothesline. KANE waits as MVP staggers up, clamps his mighty mitt around MVP's throat, poised to deliver the ChokeSlam only to have MVP deliver a swift and stunning kick to his groin - and the ref calls for the bell! AAAAAOOOOOW MAN! KANE staggers about a bit, starts to head after MVP who has rolled out the ring, grimaces then raises a burning glare at the fleeing self-proclaimed hottest property in sports entertainment. Winner by DQ - KANE.

Hot Time on SmackDown!

13OCT2006:  Jacksonville, FL.  Just days after leaving RAW, KANE heats things up on SmackDown!

MVP had been cryin' and blue because he didn't feel SmackDown! GM Teddy Long had given him any competition so far. MVP wanted an opponent he could sink his teeth into - someone who would make him sweat. Teddy Long came to the ring to tell MVP personally that he had a match set up, and well, afterward MVP may not HAVE any teeth. GM Long said he expected it was gonna get might HOT up in there!

The fires of hell errupted and KANE made his way down to the ring, his stoney expression and steady gait a sure sign he meant business. Center ring, Teddy Long and MVP both flinched at the sound of the explosion, and it was immediately apparent MVP was doing some sweating.

Once in the ring, KANE stood still as a statue as MVP interrupted, more times that I care to count, the ref's signal to start the match while taking his time limbering up. When MVP made to leave the ring, KANE turned the heat up a few more notches, laying into the blue clad newcomer visciously. MVP found himself being manhandled all round the perimeter of the ring, tossed onto the barricade in front of cheering fans, slammed head first into the steel steps and mashed in the head by KANE's big boots. Having had enough, MVP raked at KANE's eyes then took off up the ramp as KANE stared malevolently after him. The match never got underway since the ref never signalled for the bell.

KANE Makes His Exit

RAW 09OCT2006: KANE left the arena without a word after a hard fought bout against Estrada and Umaga in the Loser-Leaves-RAW match during the RAW Family Reunion at U of SC. WWE.com credits KANE's loss to Estrada's interference, in the form of jamming a cigar box into KANE's throat which sent him reeling into Umaga's Samoan Spike.

As he made his way toward the exit, The Highlanders spoke up, telling KANE although he lost the match, they knew he'd put his heart into it, and they were proud to be in the same company as he.  For their words of support, KANE took a moment to deck them as others in the vicinity cowered, then, after uttering a 'thanks', continued on his way.  That's our KANE!

As the Prince of Pyro left, JR would ask the question burning in Kanenite hearts ~ when and where will we see him again. . . [more] [pics] [video]

No KANE On RAW

02OCT2006: Jim Ross mentioned, just before UMAGA's match with Snitsky, that
there will be a "Loser Leaves RAW" match next week at the RAW FAMILY REUNION between KANE and Umaga.

WWE.com is promoting the match on the front page flash tonight.

"Both Kane and Umaga will be walking into next week's special RAW Family Reunion as RAW Superstars, but only one monster will leave that way. When the dust clears, the loser of the Kane vs. Umaga match will be forced to leave RAW."

More on RAW Reunion...
