A KANE Cameo

SmackDown!

FEB 16, 2007
Seattle, WA
Aired on The WC
8:00 pm

Booker and Sharmell host "At The Movies" a movie review, and the movie d'jour is KANE's See No Evil.  Booker says he doesn't see an evil man but a disturbed one. Booker sees him being vanquished at No Way Out - vanquished by King Booker. Does KANE inspire fear?

A clip is shown from the movie where KANE comes through a wall and attacks his victims.  Booker and Sharmell are laughing madly and Booker says the Muppets are scarier than KANE! Booker contends the movie has no style, no sense of menace. Booker demonstrates what he'd have done in the movie, using an overlay of him and an axe dubbed over the movie. In the background he's people to run from him, the King of the World. Sharmell cheers him on and Booker says he doesn't fear KANE at all!

The lights go out, the room is cast in a red glow. Haunting music wafts through the air as we hear the menacing voice of KANE. "This Sunday, there is No Way Out . . ." KANE rips the back-drop curtain with a knife and puts his head through as the terrified self-made monarch and his queen book out of there! Once again KANE takes the last laugh.

WWE Wrestlers on Smallville

KANE and Ashley headed north to Vancouver, B.C., last week to film guest spots on the hit CW series, Smallville. WWE.com was there as the SmackDown Superstars showed off their acting and fighting skills on set.

"KANE is playing Titan, a badass alien cyborg-type creature who escaped from the Phantom Zone," Ashley explained. "I'm playing an ass-kicking babe named Athena. I'm a security guard at the fight club in the prison." [spoiler]

This will be the second episode of Smallville's sixth season that will feature WWE wrestlers guest starring as characters that had escaped from the Phantom Zone at the beginning of the season. The first episode was from November 2006 titled "Static" which featured current World Heavyweight Champion Batista as a "Zoner" called Aldar.

There is no information on whether any other wrestlers may guest star on Smallville this season or next, but with SmackDown! and Smallville both being some of the most popular shows on their network, it seems likely that WWE and the CW will continue to put SmackDown! and maybe other superstars on the CW's more popular shows.

The episode titled "Combat" is set to air on The CW, March 22nd.
