This week, William Regal took a shot at the Big Red Monster.  Having Taylor in his corner was little help since both the Boogeyman and Lil' Boogeyman had KANE's back.   Regal put up a good fight, but in the end KANE stood victorious.

KANE got some leverage over the events of last week and settled a score with the Brutal Brits by defeating Taylor in the Steel City on this week's SmackDown! episode.  In his corner were the Boogeyman and Little Boogeyman, keeping watchful eyes on Taylor's partner William Regal.

Theodore Long pit MVP against KANE in a No. 1 Contenders Match for the right to face United States Champion, Chris Benoit.

The Big Red Monster was the dominant force throughout the match, looking to be the one to face the Rabid Wolverine, but William Regal & Dave Taylor had other plans.

Earlier in the evening, as the dastardly duo attempted to beatdown the Boogeyman and Little Boogey, KANE's fires erupted, and the Big Red One made his way out, chasing Regal & Taylor through the crowd. The two now sought revenge by costing KANE his victory, with Regal nailing KANE on the side of the head with his brass knuckles while the ref was distracted with MVP.  As KANE staggered, MVP delivered the Playmaker for the win.
