And to All A Good Night

SmackDown! December 22, 2006
Hampton, Virginia

This week's show begins with "King" Booker, Finlay and "Queen" Sharmell in GM Teddy Long's office demanding a rematch with Cena and Batista. Long says it isn’t gonna happen - they had their chance. "King" Booker bristles, Finlay counters saying they only want what's best for the show, which Teddy can did. So, the GM books a spectacular match for them - putting them up against The Brothers of Destruction themselves, Kane and UnderTaker! With shocked looks on their faces Booker, Finlay and Sharmell protest loudly "NO!", and we go with the opening credits.

Finlay and Booker enter the ring and shake hands. 'Slow Chemical' wails, heralding the arrival of KANE, and as he makes his way to the ring, face fixed with an intense expression, Booker and Finlay slide to the outside. The gong that only means one thing sounds and the crowd goes crazy as UnderTaker makes his way to the ring with Sharmell shown holding tightly onto Booker on the outside of the ring.

The match starts with UnderTaker and Booker in the ring, Booker takes the advantage against 'Taker in the corner, pummelling the dead man until pulled away and given a warning by the referee. Taker's turn now - he grabs Booker by the throat with both hands and throws him in the corner where he unloads on him. Taker now works over Booker's arm then just up and throws him across the ring. More work on the arm as a big UnderTaker chant starts up in the crowd and Taker goes Old School off the top rope. Undertaker turns and meets an interfering Finlay with a kick to the midsection then goes uptop to SmackDown! some Old School on him, but Booker lunges for the ropes, causing Undertaker to catch a crotch on the ropes!

Booker now mounts the ropes and superplexes Taker off the top rope! He goes for the pin but Taker kicks out and then sits up as Booker tags Finlay in. Booker holds Taker as Finlay continues the assault. Finlay offloads with a number of uppercuts before the UnderTaker statrs to fight back but Finlay takes the advantage back quickly. He whips Taker into the ropes but the crafty dead man rebounds with a DDT in the middle of the ring before making the tag to KANE! Kane unleashes on Finlay AND Booker, who has entered the ring, with big rights. He whips Booker into the ropes then clotheslines Finlay who has staggered into the opposite corner. He does the same to Booker and then picks him up and drops him with a sideslam! He goes for the cover on Booker but it's broken up by Finlay who is then attacked by Taker who has entered the ring. To a huge cheer from the crowd, Finlay and Booker are whipped off the ropes and given a big boot to the face by The Brothers of Destruction who then set up for chokeslams. Finlay and Booker are out of the ring though in record time as we go to commercial break...

Back from commercial, Kane is working on Booker in the corner with alternating lefts and rights, knocking him to the canvas before throttling him with a boot. Kane drags him to the apron, exits the ring and nearly takes his head off with a big elbow! Back in the ring Finlay has entered and as the referee is dealing with him UnderTaker delivers to Booker a legdrop from the apron! Kane goes for the cover on Booker but the 'King' kicks out. Kane executes a suples and another attempted pin, again broken by Finlay who's back in the ring. Kane tags to UnderTaker who enters the rings with a boot to Booker's middle. Undertaker presses the assault on him, chasing off the referee taking him to task over working Booker over in the corner.

UnderTaker is stunned with a thumb to the eye as he comes back to take care of Booker. The tag is made to Finlay who comes in and hits UnderTaker into the ropes following up with fists of fury. Finlay then tries to zing off the ropes and is met by a boot to the face! Undertaker slams Finlay into the corner, picks him up to deliver Snake Eyes and comes off the ropes again with another big boot and Finlay staggers! Taker whips Finlay into the corner again then tags in Kane. Undertaker goes for a big boot again to Finlay before he exits but Finlay ducks out of the way and Undertaker catches himself over the top rope before hitting the floor. Booker takes to Undertaker on the floor as Kane goes to the corner to see what has happened with his brother.

From behind Finlay whacks Kane and at the same time Undertaker is flattened by a big high kick from Booker! The momentum seems to have changed with Finlay tagging Booker but he is met by a boot to the face from Kane as he comes into the ring. Kane whips Booker across the ring and follows with a high elbow before trying to mount the ropes. Finlay tries to interfere but is knocked from the canvas with a thumb to the eye. Kane dives at Booker from the ropes but is met with a heel kick! Booker takes the advantage kicking into Kane's head before giving Kane a back kick. Meanwhile on the outside of the ring Finlay slams the Taker's head into the announcer's table! Booker tags Finlay who jumps on Kane before going for a pin but Kane kicks out at 2. On the outside of the ring Booker takes Undertaker down with a chair shot! In the ring, Finlay works Kane with a rest hold which Kane breaks A tag to Booker who fells Kane with a back kick as he's whipped off the ropes by Finlay! Another attempted cover foiled as Finlay is caught by a hand to the throat by Undertaker as he tries to hit him with the shillelagh! Finlay counters with a kick to Taker's groin before laying him out properly with the shillelagh!

The referee was distracted by Sharmell on the apron during all this and we see Booker going wild on Kane on the canvas with a barrage of blows to the head. Booker tags Finlay in and Finlay stomps on Kane's hand then tags Booker in again. The Undertaker is still on the floor! Booker whips Kane into the ropes, misses with a clothesline as Kane ducks underneath it and they double clotheslines each other! The crowd goes nuts as Finlay tries to tackle Undertaker on the outside of the ring again only to be met by a big boot to the face and Undertaker staggers back to his own corner as Kane and Booker struggle to get up. Both wrestlers make it to all fours and both just manage to make tags under the referrees count, Booker a mite faster than Kane. Finlay rushes in and is met with a right hand as Undertaker takes soupbones to both finlay and Booker in the ring! It's Undertaker's turn to clean house as he clothesline Booker and Finlay not once by twice as they're in opposite corners!! As the crowd roars it's approval, Undertaker grabs them both around the throat but they break the hold with a double kick to the gut!

Booker and Finlay slingshot Undertaker across the ring and as he bounces off he ducks under the attempted double clothesline! They turn around but are caught around the throat by Undertaker and Kane who has managed to come back into the ring! What we get now as the crowd explodes is a double chokeslam! Undertaker runs his hand across his throat and stalks Finlay, picks him up, delivers the Tombstone Piledriver, makes the pin and we have our winners!

Kane and Undertaker celebrate their win with Kane's pyros going off as Sharmell is shown cradling Booker on the floor outside the ring. We get a replay of the win as the show goes off air. [photos] [vid] [wwe.com]

Welcome to Kane's Inferno

ARMAGEDDON December 17, 2006
Richmond Coliseum, Richmond, VA

The heat was on Montel Vontavious Porter from the moment he entered the ring for his Inferno Match with Kane at Armageddon… but it wasn’t just from the fans who were trying to boo him out of the Richmond Coliseum. It was the eight-foot, 500-degree flames surrounding the ring that ultimately claimed him Sunday night. Though he’d be transported to a local burn unit for treatment, one thing was clear: MVP may have lost a lot more than a grueling contest to the Big Red Monster.

As documented by WWE.com throughout the hours building up to Armageddon, MVP tried acting unconcerned about going into a match where the sole stipulation is to set your opponent on fire. Having defeated Kane on two previous occasions—a Street Fight and a Steel Cage Match—he had claimed that he would be celebrating another victory at Armageddon. But as Kane joined him inside the ring and summoned the flames to erupt from all four corners, it dawned on MVP that he was in the devil’s burning playground.

The loud, crackling flames threatened to melt the very ring ropes as they flared up several feet with every impact made on the mat. MVP tried desperately to mount an offense against the Big Red Monster, who at one point delivered a Chokeslam from Hell that shot the flames up to their highest point, and brought every WWE fan in the arena to their feet.

Those same WWE fans continued standing as Kane removed one of the corner turnbuckles, then ignited it so he could set his opponent on fire. Narrowly escaping, MVP nearly stole the victory with a series of dropkicks that sent the Big Red Monster rolling toward the flames. But Kane dodged the final blow, and when MVP tried escaping his wrath by climbing up the top rope, he threw him over the fire, near the announcers’ table. He then climbed up top and followed MVP to the outside, delivering a near-fatal blow from above.

Eerily smiling as the flames danced beside them, Kane dragged MVP over to the steel ring post and proceeded to set his back on fire. Screaming in agony, MVP ran back toward the steel ramp, but the pain proved too much; he was unconscious by the time officials doused the flames on his back with fire extinguishers, then rushed him to the back for immediate medical attention. Meanwhile Kane, still smiling, returned to the ring and celebrated in the middle of what truly looked like Hell on Earth. [photos] [Behind the Inferno] [wwe.com]

If the Hearse's A-rockin', Don't Come A-knockin'

SmackDown! December 15, 2006
Boston, Mass.

Michael Cole & JBL introduce the show amid the blast of SmackDown! pyros. Tonight's main event - Kane & Taker vs. MVP & Kennedy. We get a video package hyping Kane's Inferno Match.

Backstage, MVP is on his cell phone threatening to fire his agent for not getting him out of his inferno match. Mr. Kennedy walked up to MVP and teased him on his fear over a match where he might get a blister or something. He faces the possibility of being thrown into the back of a hearse.

"Do you know where you go when you're in the back of a hearse? You go to the cemetary." Kennedy hissed. Their argument escalates, then Kennedy said they had to stop it and get on the same page. MVP asked if he was with him. Kennedy said he was. They shook hands.

We get a shot of Undertaker and Kane facing each other as fog swirled around them. Taker rolled his eyes back into his head before they both turned to look full on at the camera. OHHHH Yeah!

A hearse sits in the entranceway, intimidating the loudmouths. MVP jumps at his own pyro. Kennedy opens the hearse to make sure it's really empty this week. Kane stands by it with an evil grin. During Taker's ring intro, JBL sells the Last Ride match then onto a tirade, claiming his Last Ride bout with the Undertaker ruined his career. He goes as far as to question why Teddy Long remains on as GM after booking all this. o.O

KANE & UNDERTAKER vs. MR. KENNEDY & MVP

JBL sells the Infero Match, wondering aloud how MVP could prepare to beat Kane in an Inferno Match when Kane likes fire! Taker and Kane took early control on MVP. JBL complained that the Smackdown fans are cheering freaks like Taker and Kane instead of role models like Kennedy and MVP. Kane opens by pummeling Kennedy in the corner and giving him a double-arm chokeslam. Kane lifts Kennedy and holds him up with a vise grip around the neck, Kennedy gets in an elbow then tags in MVP in a panic.

MVP tries some close quarters knees but Kane sideslams him. Diving clothesline from Kane before he sets MVP up for Taker. The dead man strikes away in the corner and intimidates the referee. Taker goes to work on MVP's arm and goes up top but Kennedy distracts him and for his trouble Kennedy gets tagged in.

Kennedy comes in and wails on Taker beating him down in the corner. Kennedy kicks the deadman so hard Taker falls outside where MVP takes over bouncing his head off the steps. Kennedy tags out and holds Taker for MVP to kick at him some more. Taker rallies to come back with the Old School Ropewalk Forearm. Kane gets the blind tag and boots a charging MVP in the face. Kane turns and Kennedy runs into a big boot too. JBL takes this opportunity to explain the make up of the chemistry between Kane and 'Taker - they'd kill each other, he says, but if you mess with one of them, you have to deal with both of them.

Taker and Kane knocked MVP out of the ring, then double chokeslammed Kennedy in mid-ring. They both signal for the end with throat-slash arm gestures, but when Taker lifted Kennedy for the Tombstone, MVP yanked Kennedy out of the ring. Taker back-flipped over the top rope to the floor and pursued MVP onto the TitonTron stage where he threw him into the set. Kane has left the ring in pursuit of Kennedy, the referee makes the ten count and calls for the bell.

Meanwhile, Kennedy and Kane are going at it outside the ring and Kane gets whipped into the ringside steps. JBL wondered if Kane would even make it to Armageddon. Kennedy DDT's Kane for good measure then makes a dash for the hearse to get behind the wheel. MVP runs out to stomped on Kane some more, then waves Kennedy on. Kennedy guns the engine and honks. The lights go out and when they come back on, Taker was in the passenger seat, just sitting there like a passenger going for a ride. Kennedy turns his head, eyes wide - then Taker snaps his head around to galvanize Kennedy with a menacing stare, and Ken can't get out of there fast enough! Finally he makes it out to join MVP in between the front of the hearse and the prone figure of Kane. Kane sits up - the thoroughly freaked out heels flee - and Kane's body spasms with laughter.

And When the Lights Go Out . . .

SmackDown! December 8, 2006
Florence Civic Center, Florence, SC

MVP's in Teddy Long's office complaining about his match with Kane at Armageddon. He contends the GM creates a new gimmick match every time he beats Kane and he's too good to be surrounded by 500 degree flames! MVP says matches like this aren't in his contract to which Long replies that he would like to see anywhere in the contract that he can be pulled from any match and if MVP doesn't fight, he's fired! Teddy Long says he can make a match next week for MVP that will help to soften Kane up a bit - MVP and Kennedy versus Kane. Oh, and Kane's partner will be . . . the UnderTaker! MVP ain't happy ~

Next, we get a vid clip of a masked Kane in an inferno match before we're shown Kane standing in front of a Christmas tree. Kane is rolling in his hand what appears to be smoking coals and sings "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" before breaking into a maniacal laugh! We go to JBL and Cole hyping the match at Armageddon.

Back to the ring Mr. Kennedy makes his way down to the ring. Another flashback from earlier in the show with what transpired between Undertaker and Kennedy. Kennedy awaits the arrival of Kane. There is a bit of a delay before Kane's entrance music finally hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Kane vs. Mr. Kennedy
Kane has just enough time to enter the ring before Kennedy begins his assault on him. He offloads with a number of punches then comes off the ropes and is met by a boot to the face much to the crowd's delight! It's Kane's turn now as he takes down Kennedy with an uppercut and then chokes him with the boot before beating into him again. He slams Kennedy and then delivers an elbow drop to him. Kennedy fights back, however, forcing Kane into the corner before Kane grabs ahold of Kennedy's throat, tosses him back into the corner and begins his assault. A leg drop from Kane and an attempted pin. Kennedy tries to crawl out of the ring but is stopped by Kane who elbows him on the apron before suplexing him back into the ring. A whip into the corner has Kennedy elbowing Kane as a follow up. The momentum changes again as Kane takes down Kennedy with a vicious looking clothesline! Kennedy staggers out of the ring with Kane hot on his heels, but Kennedy had a plan and rips the padding from the top of one of the crowd barricades, set to use Kane's head on it. Kane was ready though and offloads with a big right hand before tossing Kennedy back into the ring!

Kane unleashes on Kennedy, taking him down with a short arm clothesline before beating on Kennedy in the corner knocking him to the canvas. He chokes Kennedy with the boot before being forced to make the break with the referee's count. Kane walks away and as he comes back at Kennedy is grabbed by the front of his tights and yanked out of the ring! Kane has his eyes raked by Kennedy as he tries to re-enter the ring then Kennedy lands a dropkick knocking Kane back to the floor, his head hitting the top of the barricade that was exposed earlier! We get a count of 9 before Kane manages to roll back into the ring to be met by an elbow to the back and another with Kennedy taking the advantage. He gives Kane a DDT and a near fall ensues. Kennedy doesn't look happy as he goes after Kane again and is met by an uppercut. Kane can't press the advantage though, and Kennedy slammed his head into the turnbuckle before taking him down to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep and another attempted pin.

Kennedy locks in a chin lock but Kane manages to gain his feet before Kennedy gets backs him in the corner, bringing him back to the canvas with a number of kicks to the midsection. Kennedy looks on at a seemingly dazed Kane before going back for more. He's met by a vise-like-grip around the throat as Kane, to the crowd's delight, gets to his feet and looks to slam Kennedy! Kennedy escapes with a kick to Kane's midsection then starts to counter with another DDT but Kane just picks him and throws him across the ring to land face first on the canvas! Kane proceeds with a number of right hands on Kennedy before whipping him into the ropes and landing a back body drop! Kennedy staggers into the corner and is given a clothesline by Kane! With the cheering of the crowd ringing loudly around the arena, Kane follows up with another one! Kennedy staggers out of the corner and is given a side slam by Kane who picks him up with one arm!

Kane whips Kennedy into the ropes but telegraphs his move by bending over - Kennedy rebounds with a kick to Kane's middle followed by a swinging neck breaker! Kennedy wants to seize the advantage and climbs the ropes but Kane sits up and as Kennedy flies from the ropes he meets with a huge uppercut! Kane now climbs the ropes to take Kennedy down with a flying clothesline, stalking his prey around the ring after he scrambles up. Out from the back rushes MVP to enter the ring and Kane's grasp. Referee calls for the bell - looks like a No Contest!

Both Kennedy and MVP viciously double team Kane, bringing the Big Red Monster to the canvas, looking to annihilate him. All of a sudden we hear the UnderTaker's gong and the lights go out! When they come back on Kane is nowhere to be seen, his Inferno Match opponent at Armageddon, Montel Vontavious Porter, is standing alone in the ring with Kennedy up the rampway. Kennedy decides it's time to get out of there as once again he goes through the crowd and up the steps. MVP is left standing there looking around in confusion as Kane's pyro goes off! MVP looks around scared now - Kennedy, ducked down behind a fan's seat and nibbling on his thmb, looks on nervously as the show ends. . .

Next week, Theodore Long has announced that The Brothers of Destruction will face MVP & Mr. Kennedy on SmackDown!

SmackDown! in Europe

December 3 thru 7 2006

SmackDown! Superstars took time to tour in Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. I've found only one mention on the web:

SmackDown! live in Lisbon
By Andrew Rote with Craig Melvin
December 5, 2006
SmackDown Superstars were welcomed by a sold-out arena in Lisbon, Portugal. The night marked the first of two shows for the city.

WWE fans were especially enthusiastic over Batista, who approached as many members of the SmackDown audience as he could. Mr. Kennedy, however, was not greeted as warmly. As a result, he got in the faces of the vocal members of the crowd.

SmackDown is set for one more show in Portugal tonight. Afterward, the European tour continues to Spain, then Switzerland.

Nearing the End

SmackDown! December 1, 2006
HSBC Arena, Buffalo, NY
Theodore Long announced two other matches for Armageddon - a Last Ride Match between Undertaker & Mr. Kennedy and an Inferno Match between the monster Kane & MVP.

On this night, however, Undertaker would face Montel Vontavious Porter as he sought revenge for losing the First Blood Match at Survivor Series due to MVP’s interference.

MVP tried to gain early control with the Undertaker not selling any of his blows before he caught MVP in the corner and worked on him. He clotheslined MVP hard in the corner and beat up on him before he mounted the rope and walked the tightrope before crashing down on MVP. MVP tried to take control but was taken down by a flying clothesline from Undertaker. Undertaker removed the padding from the turnbuckle and tried to slam MVP's head against it but was blocked by MVP who then worked on Undertaker with a number of blows before being taken down by another clotheslines and given a Snake Eyes and a boot to the head! Undertaker exited the ring and grabbed a chair and brought it into the ring and tried to hit MVP who rolled out at the last moment and started backing up the rampway!

All of a sudden Mr. Kennedy ran from the back and tried to toss MVP back into the ring but it was reversed by MVP who threw Kennedy into the ring! The crowd went crazy as Kennedy was taken down with a boot to the face from the Undertaker and MVP was shown laughing as he backed up the stage to head for the back. The lights went out and the fires of hell erupted announcing the arrival of KANE!

KANE made his way towards the ring with MVP backing away from him. The crowd was going crazy as MVP backed up against the ring and was picked up by Undertaker who threw him into the ring. Kennedy tried to attack Undertaker but was knocked down and Undertaker worked on him as Kane worked on MVP. MVP and Kennedy were taken down by boots to the head off the ropes and then just as Undertaker and Kane looked to grab them for choke slams Kennedy exited the ring, jumped over the announcers table and into the crowd - MVP rolled out of the ring and made his way up the rampway! The bothers stood tall in the ring, allowing the fans to get their fill of the Brothers of Destruction together again.

At Armageddon, the rivalry between MVP and Kane will literally heat up, while The Phenom looks to take Kennedy for one last ride.

See More Evil

November 27, 2006
By Zack Zeigler (wwe.com)

WWE Films’ pioneer movie venture, See No Evil, starring Kane, is now available on DVD. For those WWE fans who missed the bloodbath that Kane’s character Jacob Goodnight produces in the film, the DVD promises all the gore and more from what was seen in theaters, plus never-before-seen behind the scenes footage and interviews.

“The DVD contains interesting technical aspects of the film – namely how some of the kills were done and the makeup, which I find intriguing,” Kane said with a wry smile. “It also has commentary tracks from the director, the executive producer and myself.”

See No Evil was Kane’s first feature film and although it was well received by WWE fans and a terrific beginning for WWE’s film division, the Big Red Machine says he’s looking forward to getting his hands on the DVD and has not taken or considered another starring movie role.

“The DVD is going to be a big hit; I’m very excited about it…but I don’t have any [future film projects] scheduled. The role in See No Evil was a perfect fit for me, but otherwise I’m concentrating on my thing here in WWE,” said the recent SmackDown acquisition.

To relive the gore of See No Evil over and over, and for extra material not seen in theaters, including an exclusive Kane WWE profile which highlights the big man’s career highlights, be sure to check out the DVD.

A Crushin' Defeat

SmackDown! 24th November, 2006
Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, NY
KANE took a moment to stop and smile as he gazed upon the Steel Cage where in mere moments he would have Montel Vontavious Porter at his mercy. The Long Island crowd popped loud and long for the Big Red Machine as he hoisted himself through the cage door and onto the ring apron with one long clean move, glancing around to make sure all was in order.

All eyes, including KANE's were on the elaborate gold closed awning emblazeoned with the letters M-V-P as the brash newby's music blared across the arena. For a moment, the only movement from the structure was the fluttering of the front curtain, and I wondered if MVP had dared to pull a no-show . . . but no, wearing sunglasses and clad in purple instead of blue, MVP strut through the curtain as if SmackDown! was his show, turning to watch as his entrance-way exploded in falmes.

KANE watches, like a hungy tiger eying his next meal, as MVP enters the cage and ring, then seems to check the cage door to make sure it's secure. As MVP turns, he finds himself face to face with KANE, who wraps his hands around his neck then tosses him into the nearest ring post. As KANE runs in he's met with an elbow followed by a burst of rights to the head and kicks to the midsection which has him hunching low in the corner. MVP takes this opportunity to high tail it to the opposite side of the ring and start to climb the cage chain-link walls, but KANE has recovered and moved swiftly to halt Porter's escape, throwing him back into the center of the ring.

MVP eyes KANE warily, then attempts an unsuccessful low kick followed by a swift right which KANE deftly blocks and parries with a right uppercut of his own that sends MVP down hard. Porter crawls toward the cage door, KANE pulls him back to ring center, MVP signals for a time-out then seems to plead with KANE to give him a break. KANE complies, delivering a right boot squarely to MVP's gold lamed chest before picking him up from off the canvas and ramming his head into the turnbuckle. KANE continues to assult MVP ending with a leg drop right across MVP's face and as he rises, MVP attempts to crawl away.

The fans are heatedly into this match as KANE gives MVP another taste of the turnbuckle folowed by another barrage of fists and a back body drop that has Porter once again crawling for the safety of the now opened cage door. KANE bows Porter up then lands an elbow to his face, effectively stopping escape, then picks the poor guy up to use him as a battering ram on the chain link fence wall. MVP blocks, scampering down KANE's back then kicks him in the back of the leg followed by a trip to the ropes where his topples KANE to the apron with a dropkick! KANE regains his feet, only to be slammed back first into the cage by MVP's body. MVP drops another elbow then starts to climb - KANE lands on in Porter's back then manuevers to seat MVP on his shoulders, setting up for a spinebuster, but Porter begins to punch at KANE's head, KANE staggers back into the ropes, Porter drops down then rushes at KANE to be felled by an elbow. MVP ducks a clothesline and rounds off with a kick in KANE's midsection followed by a few knees to KANE's head ending with a swinging neckbreaker.

KANE is down and MVP starts to climb again. The crowd is roaring now, and no doubt MVP believes it's for his escape to victory . . . but no. KANE has risen, as he does in that deadman-sit-up way of his, and the crowd is loving it! KANE climbs the rope just as MVP straddles the top of the cage, grabs hold and pulls Porter back onto the top rope where the two blow for blow until one from KANE sends MVP crashing back onto the mat. KANE picks up the beleagured guy and sends him staggering back into the ring ropes with a well placed punch followed by more rights and a couple mighty clotheslines.

Instead of walking out of the cage, KANE scoops up the crumpled MVP to throw him back first into the steel cage wall, watching grimly as Porter crashes down to the apron. MVP staggers to his feet and KANE delivers a Big Boot that send him right back into the cage wall. The fans are tearing the roof off the arena as KANE unleashes his fury on MVP before going up top-rope to deliver a flying clothesline. Again KANE opts not to take a walk, picking MVP up he climbs to the top rope and with his huge hand around Porter's throat he goes to chokeslam him off the top rope! Cole and JBL are on fire now as the fans scream their approval - but MVP rustles up enough strength to reach up and rake KANE's eyes then follow with desperate head clubbing and a lamming of KANE's pate into the steel cage. MVP delivers a knee to KANE's middle, then kicks KANE's leg out from under, sending the Big Red Machine down hard to straddle the top rope. KANE grimaces, hands to the rope to aleiviate the tension - and MVP scrambles up and over the top, dropping down on the other side as KANE recovers in time to realize he's lost this match.

KANE mutters in frustration, slamming his hand off the rope as he watches MVP stagger for the ramp and backstage. As we fade out, JBL and Michael Cole remind us once again that these two will be meeting again at Survivor Series on opposite five man teams . . . KANE will be on Team Cena - MVP will be on the Big Show's team . . . in an Elimination match.

KANE on 1st Blood

"These types of matches are completely different than any other. The goal is different, and things can get pretty brutal because of that."

That's KANE's call on WWE First Blood Matches in a WWE article posted November 11th in the Survivor Series section.

"I think his [Undertaker] strategy is going to be the same as it always is. Just to be physically dominant. Basically the match is made for him - the strategy is to beat the guy into submission, and that's what he always does."

KANE gave his take on his brother's mindset based on his own experience - against Stone Cold Steve Austin back in 1998. That experience, at King of the Ring, was the only time KANE won the WWE Championship.

More Mayhem in Manchester

Smackdown 17th November, 2006
Manchester, UK
Backstage, Teddy Long approaches KANE tells him since there's no disqualification so he can do his own thing in tonight’s Street Fight, and drops a quick plug for the DVD release of ‘See No Evil’ coming soon. The fans go nuts at the sight of KANE who says nothing, just stares off as Long walks away.

KANE stalks out to a huge crowd pop, pacing in the ring as MVP makes his entrance. KANE lunges at MVP who ducks then unloads with power punches on KANE in the corner. He tries to whip KANE across the ring but it's reversed and MVP is met by the boot of KANE as he comes off the ropes. KANE whips him across the ropes and delivers a back body drop followed by a clothesline then taking to him with heavy foot before MVP rolls out onto the apron. KANE picks him up from the apron but MVP drops to the floor, hanging KANE on the top rope while he goes for a chair that ends up kicked out of his hands by KANE.

MVP makes a run for it but KANE meets him around the side. MVP can't get back in the ring fast enough before he's grabbed by KANE who beats him all the way up the ramp and into the stage props. MVP rallies back, pushing KANE into the phone booth and shuts the door. Somehow MVP seems to think he's safe with a bit of glass and wood between them so he starts taunting "How do ya like that, huh?" KANE answers, punching through the glass door. The blast knocks MVP down flat on his back! KANE shoves MVP in the booth, and as the crowd cheers him on, tips it over letting MVP spill out the broken top! KANE lifts the near broken man up, carries him to the ring and tosses him in as Cole remarks MVP is bleeding from the forehead.

As KANE re-enters the ring, MVP used a chair from earlier to gain the advantage, ramming it into KANE's middle then slamming it across KANE's back as he's doubled over. KANE rolls out of the ring now, but as MVP swoops in he gets a kick to the midsection from KANE and the fight carries on ringside with MVP taking a pummeling. JBL tells MVP he'd better not bleed on his hat, only to have KANE knock the bloodied man right onto the announce table and JBL. JBL looks to make something of this, but backs off as KANE continues his assault on MVP. Back in the ring now, MVP is on the canvas as KANE takes up the steel chair, but Porter rallies again, turns the tables, DDT's KANE onto the chair and goes for the pin, but KANE kicks out at two as we go to commercial.

MVP is battering KANE in the ring corner then moves back to charge in with a stunning kick to KANE's head that has the big guy staggering out to ring center where Porter connects another kick to the back of KANE's leg followed by a vicious clothesline, sending KANE crashing to the canvas. MVP jukes now, laying in an elbow drop to the prone KANE's head before going for another two. Undaunted, fired up now, MVP goes outside to retrieve the ring-bell and returns to use it, but KANE has risen and catches MVP around the throat with one hand. Porter uses the ring bell to break the grasp, then lam KANE in the face with it, and the enraged monster is laid out cold. Porter takes a bit of a breather, his back to the felled giant, and is stunned to turn around and see KANE sit up! The fans are wild now as KANE gains his feet and the advantage.

KANE unleashes on MVP, tearing into him from 'pillar to post' until MVP looks more like a life-sized battered stuffed toy laying on the ring canvas. KANE signals for the crowd to liven up, gets set for his choke slam, then decides to play a bit more. Going outside the ring, he unseats the top rung of the steel steps then tosses it into the ring. MVP can only muster enough strength to roll out of the way as the steel meets canvas next to him. KANE retrieves the steel and as he's poised to use them on Porter, Kennedy flies in from nowhere to hit him in the back. KANE turns his attention on Kennedy who's wielding the bloody mic he used on The UnderTaker with last week, but KANE grabs him about the throat. MVP rallies up to deliver a low blow on KANE from behind to save Kennedy from having the life choked out of him. As KANE staggers about, Kennedy and MVP lift the steel steps together to mow KANE down to the canvas where MVP makes the pin and takes the win.

With Kennedy in the ring next to him, MVP continued to assault KANE until the lights go down and the eerie music of The UnderTaker wafts out with the blue light and billows of fog! The heels scamper out as The UnderTaker makes his way to the ring, starring them down before casting a cursory glance back on his prone brother. Kennedy shoves MVP back in the ring who, pleading, slides back away from the PHEnom then stands and turns just in time to watch KANE sit up again! As the giant rises, MVP turns back toward The UnderTaker who lands a heavy right into MVP's face that spins him around to KANE who plants a right that turns MVP back to the PHEnom. Back and forth the Brothers land punch for punch until The UnderTaker grasps MVP by the throat amid wild crowd clamor! KANE locks in a hold too, and, with a nod from KANE, the Brothers of Destruction deliver the double choke slam as Kennedy watches from the ramp.

As KANE stands over MVP, arms wide and rising, Slow Chemical running a close second to the roar of the crwod, The UnderTaker moves to the ring ropes to stare Kennedy, who is now backing slowly up the ramp, down. With some distance between them, Kennedy's mouth unlocks and he sneers at The UnderTaker, asking if he wants a piece of him before faking a ring return to turn and mark time to the back. Later, Teddy Longs tells a whining MVP he'll be meeting KANE in a Steel Cage next week on SmackDown!

KANE cut down in No DQ match

27OCT2006:   Scottrade Center, St. Louis - Though Mr. Kennedy showed he could take it one chin from a monster like KANE,  it took underhanded interference from MVP to get him a win against KANE on SmackDown!  MVP had been booked for this bout but used his contract’s 'sick clause' ~ guess he was scared sick ~ to dodge another beating from KANE.

Backstage we see MVP looking lousy. GM Long comes in and asks him what's wrong and MVP says he's not feeling 100%. Long says MVP's got a match - more than a match - it's a no disqualification matchup against KANE. MVP says he's got an intestinal virus and is utilizing the sick clause in his contract. Long is sorry that he ever agreed to that in the contract but he has to deal with it. MVP's cellphone goes off, he says it's his agent and walks off talking on the cell. As Long considers what to do Kennedy wanders in saying he's been looking for Long. Kennedy wants something for the people, something special for a match up. He wants the UnderTaker 'mano a mano' tonight - it's what the people deserve. Long says Kennedy has come in with a whole lot of bravado knowing that UnderTaker isn't in the house tonight. But since Kennedy wants a big match up - something special for the people - he's making a match up for Kennedy to fight against KANE in the no disqualification match. Kennedy looks like he's been told he's only got seconds to live. Cole and JBL discuss that very point as the cameras go back out front.

Back from commercial Tony Chimel announces the stipulations for the match before KANE takes his entrance. He enters the ring and sets off the ring post pyros. Mr. Kennedy now makes his way to the ring with a heavy tread.

Match 3: KANE vs. Mr. Kennedy in a No Disqualification Match

Both wrestlers circle each other boxing style before Kennedy lashes out with his foot catching KANE high in the leg with little or no effect. Kennedy repeats the kick again and again as they continue to circle but on the third kick KANE responds with a big right uppercut sending Kennedy reeling. As KANE approaches Kennedy lashes out with an elbow catching KANE by surprise and putting him in a headlock. KANE breaks it by whipping Kennedy into the ropes and taking him down with a shoulder block. Kennedy begs for KANE to stay off as he crawls into the corner. As KANE goes after him, Kennedy tries to kick him in the chest but KANE just grabs his leg and yanks him in for another big right. KANE picks Kennedy up and rams his head into the turnbuckle then gives him another big right followed up with a big back elbow then a hip toss. Totally in command, KANE whips Kennedy hard across the ring into the opposite corner leaving Kennedy staggering about into KANE's hands. KANE picks him up by the throat to nonchalantly throw him to the canvas. Kennedy tries to crawl out of the ring but KANE grabs him before he makes it. KANE kicks Kennedy on the apron then picks him up for a suplexe over the ropes back into the ring before going for a pin to get a two count.

KANE pulls Kennedy up for an Irish whip across the ring to follow up with haul up for a tombstone, but Kennedy manages to wiggle out behind KANE delivering a kick into his hamstring slowing the monster down. Kennedy now bounces off the ropes right into a vicious clothesline from KANE! Another whip into the corner followed by a strong arm shot to the head has Kennedy dazed, but he rallies enough to deliver a big boot to KANE's face which stuns the Big Guy. KANE returns a big boot, Kennedy ducks and KANE finds his right leg tangled up over the top rope. Before he can detangle himself from the ropes, Kennedy comes in with kicks to the sore hamstring and KANE falls back into the corner as Kennedy stomps away on him 'til KANE rolls out of the ring.

Insanely, Kennedy goes after KANE who meets him with an uppercut that sends Kennedy reeling. KANE stalks but Mr. Kennedy grabs a handful of tights to ram KANE's knee into the steel steps then grabs a steel chair to further the damage. Before he can use it, KANE lands another uppercut and Kennedy staggers into the ring with KANE hot on his heels. KANE is met by a low dropkick to the midsection and he drops to the mat. Kennedy exits the ring, grabs KANE's leg and slams it against the steel ring post; grabbing up another steel chair he rams it into KANE's exposed knee against the ring post! KANE writhes, Kennedy rolls back into the ring, drags KANE over to the center and attempts the cover for a count of one.

As KANE tries to break out, Kennedy takes the advantage of his position ramming KANE's into the canvas then going for another cover for a two count. Kennedy continues his assault, but each blow seems to strengthen KANE as he rises to his feet. But Kennedy has the upper hand at this point battling KANE to the ropes where he locks KANE's leg in the ropes then bounces off the ropes to land a dropkick on the injured knee - KANE is in pain. Kennedy attempts another cover - gets a two count then goes to lock in a figure four leg lock but KANE uses his free foot to shove Kennedy away and through the middle ropes out onto the floor.

Kennedy climbs the ropes and launches himself at KANE into a big right uppercut as the crowd goes wild. Both men stagger to their feet, trading blows until Kennedy gains the advantage by kicking KANE's sore leg again, the one he's been working on all match. A shoulder block sends KANE in the corner, Kennedy charges in for another one only to be taken down by a vicious clothesline by KANE. Staggering to his feet, Kennedy is downed again with another clothesline. He gets to his feet again for an Irish whip followed by a back body drop and then a side slam. KANE mounts the top rope and out of nowhere MVP pops up behind him to shove KANE off and into the ring! KANE lands on his feet staggering back toward MVP, Kennedy to get to his feet and takes KANE down then jams a number of elbows to the knee as MVP cheers him on from outside the ring.

Kennedy climbs the ropes to attempt a moonsault on KANE only to meet the mat as KANE rolls deftly out of the way. MVP rushes the ring to meet KANE's fist as Kennedy stands. KANE sends Kenendy down again, turns to deliver an uppercut to MVP then turns about again to lam Kennedy back down to the mat once again. The crowd is raising the roof! KANE rids the ring of MVP, throwing him over the top ropes, Kennedy takes advantage of the distraction, kicking KANE in the knee twice 'til he turns around. Kennedy runs off the ropes again but this time meets the big boot to the face from KANE! KANE stalks Kennedy, grabs him up for the choke slam when MVP breeches the ring with a steel chair to blast KANE high in the back of his legs! KANE drops to his back bringing Kennedy with him - the ref sees Kennedy on top in pin position and begins the count! MVP rushes the ring again, holding Kennedy donw ontop of a struggling KANE! THREE! The pin is made! After a grueling match, Mr. Kennedy has defeated . . . KANE!

MVP hastily rolls out of the ring, Kennedy gets the heck out of Dodge, and KANE is left to sit in the ring body heaving in anger, frustration and pain. The glare KANE sends after MVP is hot enough to singe steel.

Later, GM Teddy Long makes his way onto stage to announce he is signing a match for next week's SmackDown! with MVP and Mr. Kennedy teaming up to go against KANE. His partner? None other than The UnderTaker! The already hot crowd set the rafters rumbling over this! For the first time in years the 'Brothers of Destruction' are teaming up on TV.

M.V.P. kicks out of KANE-ing

20OCT2006: Los Angeles, CA - Staples Center. The pumped up near capacity crowd is HOT as M.V.P. makes his way down the ramp. Recap of last week's surprise matchup between Porter and KANE ends with M.V.P. running for the back after a thorough trounce by the Big Red Machine.

M.V.P. gets on the mic and says he wasn't prepared for a matchup against KANE last week, and the only reason he left the ring was because he had something in his eye! Yeah! A couple of knuckles belonging to KANE! Fans are chanting "POWER RANGER" as Porter goes on to say he's ready this week for KANE, and this time the outcome will be different.

KANE walks out through the erupting fires of hell, larger than life and grim as the reaper, and the first match of the night is about to begin. In the ring, M.V.P. takes a shove at the ref before he can call for the bell, and goes at KANE with his fists thinking to catch him off guard. KANE pushes his opponent away only to have him come at him again to land a few right punches and get the same results. M.V.P. moves in again and KANE sends him crashing to the mat with a powerful right of his own. After getting his head slammed against the turnbuckle, another jarring right uppercut and an Irish whip across the ring, M.V.P. stumbles into KANE who picks him up for a slam, but Porter wriggles out over KANE's back to roll out the ring.

This week, KANE isn't willing to wait and see, he meets the disoriented M.V.P. on the outside with an uppercut then slings him back into the ring. As KANE enters the ring, M.V.P. drops an elbow but the Big Guy was ready and moved - M.V.P. met the mat. Now KANE drags him out of the ring and M.V.P. is giving a time-out signal!!! KANE stumbles over Porter's legs after that one grabs his trunks and pulls and KANE hits the steel steps knee first. MVP capitalizes on KANE's position, stomping on him before getting back in the ring before a count out. KANE is back in the ring before the count of 8, M.V.P. is waiting and goes on the offensive pounding KANE's back and working the injured knee with kicks and punches. Each punch and kick by Porter seems to rally KANE rather than keep him down, and when he finally gains his knees, he stops M.V.P., grabbing his boot in mid kick to follow-up with an uppercut. Porter resorts to raking at KANE's eyes - and here's where we get the promised 'different ending' from last week . . .

Instead of hightailing it out of the ring THIS time, M.V.P. kicks the back of KANE's leg, bringing him back down to one knee. M.V.P. does this weird little dance I've only seen on the playground then goes to bounce off the ropes only to be met by a Big Boot to the face from KANE. Before M.V.P. can recover, KANE sweeps him up for a side slam then exits the ring, climbs the ropes and jumps back in with a flying clothesline. KANE waits as MVP staggers up, clamps his mighty mitt around MVP's throat, poised to deliver the ChokeSlam only to have MVP deliver a swift and stunning kick to his groin - and the ref calls for the bell! AAAAAOOOOOW MAN! KANE staggers about a bit, starts to head after MVP who has rolled out the ring, grimaces then raises a burning glare at the fleeing self-proclaimed hottest property in sports entertainment. Winner by DQ - KANE.

Hot Time on SmackDown!

13OCT2006:  Jacksonville, FL.  Just days after leaving RAW, KANE heats things up on SmackDown!

MVP had been cryin' and blue because he didn't feel SmackDown! GM Teddy Long had given him any competition so far. MVP wanted an opponent he could sink his teeth into - someone who would make him sweat. Teddy Long came to the ring to tell MVP personally that he had a match set up, and well, afterward MVP may not HAVE any teeth. GM Long said he expected it was gonna get might HOT up in there!

The fires of hell errupted and KANE made his way down to the ring, his stoney expression and steady gait a sure sign he meant business. Center ring, Teddy Long and MVP both flinched at the sound of the explosion, and it was immediately apparent MVP was doing some sweating.

Once in the ring, KANE stood still as a statue as MVP interrupted, more times that I care to count, the ref's signal to start the match while taking his time limbering up. When MVP made to leave the ring, KANE turned the heat up a few more notches, laying into the blue clad newcomer visciously. MVP found himself being manhandled all round the perimeter of the ring, tossed onto the barricade in front of cheering fans, slammed head first into the steel steps and mashed in the head by KANE's big boots. Having had enough, MVP raked at KANE's eyes then took off up the ramp as KANE stared malevolently after him. The match never got underway since the ref never signalled for the bell.

KANE Makes His Exit

RAW 09OCT2006: KANE left the arena without a word after a hard fought bout against Estrada and Umaga in the Loser-Leaves-RAW match during the RAW Family Reunion at U of SC. WWE.com credits KANE's loss to Estrada's interference, in the form of jamming a cigar box into KANE's throat which sent him reeling into Umaga's Samoan Spike.

As he made his way toward the exit, The Highlanders spoke up, telling KANE although he lost the match, they knew he'd put his heart into it, and they were proud to be in the same company as he.  For their words of support, KANE took a moment to deck them as others in the vicinity cowered, then, after uttering a 'thanks', continued on his way.  That's our KANE!

As the Prince of Pyro left, JR would ask the question burning in Kanenite hearts ~ when and where will we see him again. . . [more] [pics] [video]

No KANE On RAW

02OCT2006: Jim Ross mentioned, just before UMAGA's match with Snitsky, that
there will be a "Loser Leaves RAW" match next week at the RAW FAMILY REUNION between KANE and Umaga.

WWE.com is promoting the match on the front page flash tonight.

"Both Kane and Umaga will be walking into next week's special RAW Family Reunion as RAW Superstars, but only one monster will leave that way. When the dust clears, the loser of the Kane vs. Umaga match will be forced to leave RAW."

Downed but not Out

25SEP2006: Once again KANE seemed to have his win in the bag only to have sweet victory wrested away with an attack from behind!

Defying orders from Jonathan Coachman, ring leader for the night, Umaga stormed the ring just as KANE was set to cinch his win over  Nitro with a tombstone and cracked KANE across the back with a steel chair.  Umaga continued his assault on KANE with the steel chair and his own body, then slammed KANE's head between the ring post and the steel steps he'd hefted as KANE leaned over the middle rope.

Though the win was awarded to KANE, he was left face down in the ring as Umaga and Estrada celebrated all the way to the back.  They don't know Big Red very well, do they?!  He may have been down, but he's far from out of strategies of his own to bring the fear back into BOTH chumps eyes!

Monster Mashed

21AUG2006: One night after aiding DX win over the McMahons at SummerSlam, KANE went after championship gold in a match against Johnny Nitro for the IC Title.

Just when it seemed gold was within reach, Umaga squashed our hopes, felling our KANE then smashing the Big Red Monster's throat, leaving him spitting up blood in the middle of the ring. The DQ gave KANE the win, but not the title.

Who's the Baddest Monster in the WWE?

SummerSlam '06 20AUG2006:
TD Northbank Center, Boston, MA KANE made sure no one forgot just who the resident Monster is on the WWE roster. Before their match, DX went to KANE's dressing room and informed him they'd heard Vince say he thought Umaga was the baddest monster in the WWE. Of course KANE took issue with that, and let the "Bosses" know it.

As Estrada led Umaga down to the ring during the McMahon's match against DX, KANE made his presence known, thrilling the crowd, Kanenites and smarks alike.

While KANE took care of Umaga, DX went on to win the match.

Kane beat Shelton Benjamin to become the No. 1 Contender for the IC Title.

Kane had the upper hand in size and strength, but Shelton was able to put up a good fight using his agility and spunk, until Kane got a good grip on Benjamin's neck and sent him into the mat. Kane got the pin, Monday night on RAW, and an upcoming match against IC Champ, Johnny Nitro, for the belt. [more] [photos] [watch]

KANE versus Randy Orton

Kane got a HOT reception from the Aussie crowd. Focusing on Kane's leg, Orton seemed to dominate most of the match, eventually going for an RKO, which Kane blocked with a big boot. Kane then choke slammed Orton for the sudden win. The finish came out of nowhere! Orton dominated most of the match, and it took Kane only one big boot-chokeslam combo to get the win. Kane limped to the back after the match.

Extreme KANE

25JUL2006: Coming home from Italy, where he dove into promotional appearances for 'SEE NO EVIL', KANE headed to Detroit, Tuesday night, to try and win the ECW World Championship from Big Show in an Extreme Rules Match.

The former partners and World Tag Team Champions were no strangers to each other, and had ended their partnership on a sour note. The two giants battled each other back and forth using anything at hand, drawing blood from Show! After escaping a pinfall following Show’s signature chokeslam, and getting in one of his own, KANE was denied his pin when the ref's count was hampered by Heyman, and Show was able to retain his title. KANE WOWS Italian Fans

KANE In Italy
Milan, Italy
20JUL2006

In Milan to promote "See No Evil", opening in Italian theatres July 28th, KANE participated in a Q&A with fans and journalists. Here's a brief sample of questions put to KANE, loosely translated.

The first impact of the wrestler is amazing, KANE does indeed inspire fear (above and beyond what is seen in the film in the form of the evil Jacob Goodnight) thanks to his build and appearance but, as soon as he speaks and addresses his fans, one can see he is indeed likeable, affable and accommodating.

Which scenes were the most difficult, easiest and most amusing to do? KANE says the scenes with Jacob's mother were the most difficult to perform, the easiest would have been, obviously, the killing scenes, which he said were also the most amusing.

Which wrestler would you like to make a movie with? KANE says Undertaker, since they have always worked well together.

About the possibility of a sequel to "See No Evil", KANE indicates his wrestling career is most important to him, and he would not make another film if it were to interfere or hinder that. Having said this, if the WWE wants to make a go of it, he wouldn't exclude the possibility . . . he wants revenge on the damned dog! (LMAO! This is in reference to the final scene in the movie!)

A question of whether he'd be interested in Hollywood, and what genre, had KANE joking about a humorous movie with The Rock.

KANE also addressed the circulating rumors of his retirement from the WWE in 2007. He indicated having heard of the rumors, that decision would be up to him, and, not wanting to disappoint or abandon his fans, this was not the time to end his career.

Asked how much his life has changed since removing his mask, KANE says more fans recognize him in airports, and that's fine because he likes to interact with his fans. At this point, the microphone he's using stops working and KANE jokes when he wore a mask and didn't speak much, instances like malfunctioning microphones didn't happen.

Someone wanted to know which of his female cast appealed to him most. KANE said in his wrestling career he hadn't had much luck with women, as seen with Lita, so he preferred to avoid the actresses.

When asked if he associated in any way with the part he played, KANE said given what he does in the WWE, it was very easy for him to play the role of a psychopath.

Heading Into BackLash

Check out KANE's Official site! 24APR2006: London, England

Backstage, Kane is pacing (no voices). Show walks up, wanting to straighten things out with Kane. He wants to know what is going on, what's with May 19th? Mention of the date sets Kane off again. Show continues, in some 'tough love' kinda way, says the date is like any other day. Kane warns him not to say it again - or else. Show repeats it and Kane lays into him, pummeling him into the garage door, kicking and going for Show's eyes. Others come to break it up, Kane flips out on them too while Show is roaring in pain. Camera shows staff having gotten between Kane and Show now tending to Big Show who's got his hand up over his left eye.

Chokeslams All Around

Check out KANE's Official site! 17APR2006: St. Louis, Missouri

Rob Conway is on the mic in the ring saying he's nobody's punching bag, he's Rob Conway damnit, and the next person who dares to disrespect him will be dealt with - here comes Kane!

Kane vs. Rob Conway
Referee: Mickey Hensen

Kane nailed Conway with an uppercut and sent him to the ropes but Conway came back with a boot and forearm. Conway ran into a clothesline then Kane sent him to the corner and squashed him with another clothesline followed by a big boot. Kane grabbed Conway by the throat and chokeslammed him for the win.

No pyro - instead, likea man with a purpose, Kane climbed out of the ring, went over to Lilian and got in her face. He shouted "What did you just say about May 19?", then grabbed Lilian by the throat and picked her up high for a chokeslam! You could see the terror in Lilian's face as she struggled against the inevitable! Big Show's music hit and Kane threw Lilian down hard as Show came down and got in Kane's face, demanding to know what was going on. He asked what the big deal is about May 19. Kane freaked and grabbed Show by the throat trying to choke him out, but Show grabbed Kane by the throat and chokeslammed him! As Show walked off, Kane sat up and started laughing.

The announcers inform us that Lilian Garcia is traumatized.

The Spirit Squad bounce into the ring as the new World Tag Team Champions with Johnny and Nicky defending the gold tonight against the team they beat for the gold last week, the Big Show and Kane!

Kane is shown wlaking in some hallway backstage when we start to hear some whispering, like he's hearing things. "You can't stop it . . . May 19th . . . It's happening again, Kane". Kane reacts turning into the wall, sliding down and folding into himself with his hands up over his head. He's startled when Show lays a hand on his shoulder, asked if he was all right. Kane seemed to recover quickly, said he was good - let's go do this thing.

Back on RAW, after commercial break, the Squad are still dancing around in the ring when Kane and Big Show enter.

Show tossed Johnny to the corner, pulling his shrit up over hishead, then nailed him with a huge chop to the chest. A huge slam followed by a kicked in the gut and a choking on the middle rope later, Show sent Johnny head first to the corner, ripping the kid's shirt off.

Nicky tagged in and Kane nailed him with an uppercut. Nicky hammered away on Kane and then Kenny took a cheap shot from the outside 'til Nicky covered for one. Kane came back with rights but Nicky hit a dropkick to the knee and sent Kane outside. The Squad stomped away on Kane on the outside 'til Show chased them off. Nicky sent Kane back inside and then tagged in Johnny who immediately began kicking away at Kane's leg. He locked in a grapevine, but Kane kicked him away. Nicky tagged back in and he and Johnny nailed a groin puller on Kane for two. Kane fought back with right hands and went for the tag but Johnny tagged in and hit a dropkick at Kane's back before he could reach Show. Nicky tagged back in continued to work over the leg with another groin puller then a two count cover.

Johnny tagged in and they went for a double suplex but Kane sat up and the Squad hammered away on Kane to the outside. Kane seemed to revive and got in some uppercuts on the outside and then slammed Nicky into the apron and sent him back inside. Kane slammed Johnny head first into the ring steps and then grabbed a chair - thought better of it then started tossing chairs into the ring as the referee called for the bell!

Winners by disqualification - The Spirit Squad

Kane got back in the ring and gave Johnny a chokeslam and then Nicky came in and got a chokeslam too. Kane grabbed a chair and the referee tried to stop him but then he grabbed the referee and gave him a chokeslam too! Show got in the ring, aking asked Kane if he was okay. Kane just stood there - Show asked what was wrong with him and told him to calm down. Kane then got in Show's face and pushed him. Show got pissed and shoved him back and said he doesn't care what's going on in his head, he don't push him. Show told him to calm down and then Kane acted like he was calming down and then grabbed Show by the throat. Show tried to break the grip and then grabbed Kane by the throat and Kane raked Show's eyes then chokeslammed him! Kane has snapped!

Back in the arena, Masters and Carlito made their way down to the ring looking all cocky as the Big Show is shown on the TitanTron in the back pushing the forklift. Kane suddenly walked up behind Show and asked if he needed a hand! Show asked how he got out of there - Kane shrugged and pointed over his shoulder, saying there's another door back there. Show and Kane made their way towards the arena while a bewildered Masters and Carlito looked on.

Masters recovered enough to take the mic to declare he and Carlito will walk out of WrestleMania as the World Tag Team Champions. He said he's proven it a million times, nobody breaks his Master Lock, and not even Big Show could escape the Master Lock Challenge.

Big Show's entrance theme blares as he and Kane make their way to the ring. Kane chased Carlito through the crowd as the Big Show got set to face the Master Lock Challenge. Show sat in the chair and Master's had trouble getting the Master Lock on. Show shrugged and Master's went for it again but couldn't get it on. Masters said it wasn't fair and Show is all greased up. Show wiped himself off with a towel as the fans chanted 'pussy' at Masters. Master's went to lock it in again and again he couldn't get a grip. Masters got po'ed and nailed Show in the back - Show got tired of the play and nailed Masters with the chokeslam.
