January 20th ~ 23rd:

Tag Team Champions, KANE & The Big Show are still working separately in House Shows in the weeks following their Tag Team Championship win. Have we ever seen this before? Tag Team partners completely going in separate paths?

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Well, I guess an apple a day won't keep a monster at bay . . . This past week KANE continued to put Carlito to the mat after stuffing an apple as far into Mr. Kuhl's mouth as far a he could! This scenario played out in arenas in Louisville, KY, Bristol, TN and Asheville, NC over the weekend with KANE getting HUGE POPS and walking away the clean winner of this bout.

Reviews of this match up have been very positive - many saying the high spot was seeing Carlito spew chewed up apple high into the air and in all directions as he was chokeslammed to the mat! Maybe Carlito should seriously consider taking up another fruit to savor, eh? :)

Dave Scherer at ProWrestling.com posted the following:

Dave Boyce sent word that you can see the trailer for WWE's new Film "See No Evil" starring Glenn "Kane" Jacobs at this link. The trailer looks pretty darned cool! It looks like a fun horror flick.

The link is to Hollywood.com where one can view the vid in either Windows Media, Real Player or QuickTime formats!

WWE.com, in conjunction with The Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences, ranks the Top 25 Superstars in wrestling each week with POWER25. The rankings're based on victories, quality of opponents, momentum & overall in-ring dominance, as well as intangibles. Check back every Saturday for the latest POWER 25. Here's KANE's ranking for January 21:

KANE stayed at the Number 2 spot on the Power 25 leader board after plunging down from NUMBER ONE last week!!! UGH! This is SOOOOOO WRONG! KANE dominated the ring against five other guys, felling ALL of his opponents before being double teamed by Carlito and Masters at NYR. HOW is this considered disappointing! His subsequent wins over Snitsky and Carlito should account for more than the number 2 spot!

Monday night in Charlotte, NC, the Big Guy squared off with Carlito again, sans apple or any other fruit . . . It was a pretty good match - no squash here! Carlito came out ready for a fight ~ and he got a monstrous one! Of course the only way out for the Caribbean Kuhl was to take a steel chair to KANE's pate, which earned him a DQ, but stopped the barrage of pain . . . for now. I look for KANE to go after Carlito first in the Royal Rumble - heh, and I'm pretty sure Carlito won't have too many in the ring to watch his back!

WWE.com has a Royal Rumble Odds page where they will rate the participating, wrestlers' chances of winning throughout the rest of this week clear up until the afternoon of the event! Here's KANE's "odds" as of this posting:

Don't forget to tune into the Royal Rumble PPV this Sunday at 8PM ET/5PM PT.

January 13th ~ 16th:

Courtesy WWE.comTag Team Champions, KANE & The Big Show are still working separately in House Shows in Huntington, WVa Saturday the 14th and Roanoke, VA Sunday the 15th.

While Show dealt with 3H, Kane continued to put Masters away in something under 9 minutes after reversing the MasterLock with a full out Nelson Slam followed by a Big Boot and the Chokeslam for the win! The reviews of this match up have been very positive - all say KANE and Masters look and work great in the ring :)

After the most tumultuous week in WWE history, WWE.com and The Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences had their most challenging POWER 25 session ever. Over the past seven days, the face of WWE has changed completely. Because of that, there were a number of Superstars considered for this week's top spot. But after hours of oftentimes heated deliberation, the Academy agreed on Edge grasping the No. 1 ranking (click here for more on the Academy's decision). Here's KANE's ranking for January 4:

KANE plunged down to the Number 2 spot on the Power 25 leader board from NUMBER ONE!!!
"Disappointing showing in the Elimination Chamber... Bounced back with huge showing on RAW against Snitsky."

UGH! This is SOOOOOO WRONG! I don't get how KANE could be blamed for having to stand around through most of the action, and how him felling ALL of his opponents before being double teamed by Carlito and Masters is considered disappointing! Oh - but Edge cheating gets him the number one spot - yeah that makes soooo much sense!

Well, the Big Guy truly taught Carlito a new way to have an apple on Raw Monday night in Raleigh, NC. I don't think Carlito will look at an apple the same way after having KANE try 'n shove it down his throat before heaving Mr. "Kuhl" over the top rope! Talk about an apple press! Guess he was working off some of the frustration from the night before, eh?

January 6th ~ 10th:

" . . . looks like someone is raising KANE"!!!

How true! It seems the Big Guy's well known ability to keep to the shadows has been thwarted as he lights up both the ring and the main stream media of the movies!

The trailer for "See No Evil" officially debuted last Friday night in theatres everywhere with the opening of the slasher, HOSTEL. Click on the banner above to go to the official site for "See No Evil" - you won't be sorry!

There's also a forum available for anyone to post on, you can read what others have said so far, but you have to sign up to leave your own thoughts. I haven't done this yet, a few of the comments set my blood to boiling, so I thought I'd wait a bit . . .

KANE has moved from the Number 2 spot on the Power 25 leader board to NUMBER ONE!!!

Defeated HBK on RAW, last man to enter the Elimination Chamber, odds on favorite to win the WWE Championship at New Year's Revolution.

courtesy wrestlingcaps.comWell, after having to stand there like an automaton through the entire match, KANE got in some heavy hitting before being double teamed by Carlito and Masters, who ended up being eliminatedby John Cena. Ah well - the Chamber lived up to it's hype - in my book it was the best segment of the New Year's Revolution PPV! And then,

On RAW Monday night, KANE qualified for the Royal Rumble when he quickly and efficiently defeated Gene Snitsky.

SOOOO much KANE . . . mmmmmmmmm (WEG) Hope he isn't TOOO disgruntled by all the lime light! :D

The Zero Tolerance Enforcer!?

Check out KANE's Official site! 02JAN2006: East Rutherford, NJ
Joey Styles, Jerry Lawler and the Coach welcomed us from ringside as McMahon took the ring and announced that the match we are about to see was made purely for his amusement. Handing Lilian the mic, Vince waited as Kane's pyro exploded and one half of the World Tag Team Champions made his way to the ring!

KANE vs. Shawn Michaels
Referee: Michael Chioda

It seems Vince is using Kane as his own personal ZERO TOLERANCE ENFORCER and the Heartbreak Kid is the target! Vince stayed in the ring as Michaels entered, then took the mic stipulating that Michaels use of the Superkick would disqualify him from the Elimination Chamber Match and the win, in this match, would go to Kane. Michaels isn't too pleased by this and lets McMahon know it.

Michaels went to work on Kane with chops in the corner and then went for a cross body 'til Kane caught him up, but Michaels wiggled free. Michaels nailed more chops but Kane tossed him hard to the corner. Kane kicked away at Michaels in the corner as McMahon looked on from ringside. Kane went for a suplex but Michaels got an inside cradle for two. Kane levelled Michaels and sent him to the ropes but Michaels hit a sunset flip for two. Kane came back with an uppercut to drop Michaels and then choked him with his boot.

Kane nailed a big right hand, and then another, but Michaels came back with rights of his own. Kane tossed Michaels to the corner and then hammered away with more shots and then choked Michaels. Kane hit a body slam and then chopped the throat and covered for two. Kane ate boot in the corner and Michaels started to come back with chops to the chest and then clotheslined Kane to the outside! Michaels hit a flying cross body over the top and McMahon got to his feet. Michaels yelled at McMahon and asked why’s he doing it, and that he has given him everything. Kane then nailed Michaels and McMahon laughed as we went to commercial.

Michaels jumped back on with the sleeper. Kane backed Michaels to the corner again and Michaels again dived back on with the sleeper hold. Kane escaped with a back suplex as McMahon looked on. Kane went for an elbow but Michaels moved and then headed up top, dived off but Kane nailed a shot to the mid section and then choked away at Michaels. Kane hit a huge leg drop and then covered for a near fall, then locked in a head vice and clubbing at the Michaels' back before choking him over the middle rope. Kane went to the outside and hit a big uppercut on Michaels and covered for another two count.

Kane went back to the head vice as the fans started to get behind the Heartbreak Kid. Michaels fought out and then traded right hands with the Big Red Machine. Michaels chopped away at Kane and then hit a big knee lift followed by more chops to the chest but then Kane grabbed him by the throat and went for the chokeslam. Michaels blocked it and Kane went to work with right hands in the corner until Michaels rallied with chops and then hit a flying forearm! Michaels nipped up and hit an atomic drop and then a kick to the gut and a big DDT for a near fall! Michaels hit a spinning neckbreaker for another two count and then charged at Kane but was taken down with a big boot, which pleased McMahon.

Kane headed up top and went for the clothesline but Michaels ducked it and knocked Kane down with a pair of clotheslines before heading up top himself. Michaels came off with the flying elbow drop and now he instinctively wants to do Sweet Chin Music. Michaels goes for it and McMahon gets on the mic and said if he uses it, he will be thrown out of the Elimination Chamber! Kane then nailed Michaels with the Chokeslam for the win!

McMahon looked very pleased as Kane has picked up a huge win here over Shawn Michaels.

Later, after the 1st Blood Match when Cena went after Daivari and Angle, Carlito and Masters hit the ring and Cena fought them all off but was grossly outnumbered. Masters, Carlito and Daivari stomped away at Cena and then Angle locked in the Ankle Lock. Cena screamed in pain and then Masters locked in the Master Lock on Angle! Carlito stomped away at Daivari in the corner and BOOM! Here comes Kane!

Kane grabbed Masters by the throat and gave him a chokeslam, and Carlito got one too. Kane gave Angle a big boot and then Daivari received a chokeslam. From out of nowhere, Michaels scrambled up and hit Sweet Chin Music on Kane! Cena struggled to his feet as the fans chanted for HBK! Cena got a sudden burst of energy and took Michaels down with the FU! Everyone is down and the crowd booed Cena hard as he struggles to get back up.

Man oh MAN! Having seen this, who would you bet will walk out of the Elimination Chamber with the title!?
