Tag Team Champions, KANE & The Big Show are still working separately in House Shows in the weeks following their Tag Team Championship win. Have we ever seen this before? Tag Team partners completely going in separate paths?
"An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Well, I guess an apple a day won't keep a monster at bay . . . This past week KANE continued to put Carlito to the mat after stuffing an apple as far into Mr. Kuhl's mouth as far a he could! This scenario played out in arenas in Louisville, KY, Bristol, TN and Asheville, NC over the weekend with KANE getting HUGE POPS and walking away the clean winner of this bout.
Reviews of this match up have been very positive - many saying the high spot was seeing Carlito spew chewed up apple high into the air and in all directions as he was chokeslammed to the mat! Maybe Carlito should seriously consider taking up another fruit to savor, eh? :)

Dave Boyce sent word that you can see the trailer for WWE's new Film "See No Evil" starring Glenn "Kane" Jacobs at this link. The trailer looks pretty darned cool! It looks like a fun horror flick.

WWE.com, in conjunction with The Academy of Wrestling Arts & Sciences, ranks the Top 25 Superstars in wrestling each week with POWER25. The rankings're based on victories, quality of opponents, momentum & overall in-ring dominance, as well as intangibles. Check back every Saturday for the latest POWER 25. Here's KANE's ranking for January 21:
KANE stayed at the Number 2 spot on the Power 25 leader board after plunging down from NUMBER ONE last week!!! UGH! This is SOOOOOO WRONG! KANE dominated the ring against five other guys, felling ALL of his opponents before being double teamed by Carlito and Masters at NYR. HOW is this considered disappointing! His subsequent wins over Snitsky and Carlito should account for more than the number 2 spot!
Monday night in Charlotte, NC, the Big Guy squared off with Carlito again, sans apple or any other fruit . . . It was a pretty good match - no squash here! Carlito came out ready for a fight ~ and he got a monstrous one! Of course the only way out for the Caribbean Kuhl was to take a steel chair to KANE's pate, which earned him a DQ, but stopped the barrage of pain . . . for now. I look for KANE to go after Carlito first in the Royal Rumble - heh, and I'm pretty sure Carlito won't have too many in the ring to watch his back!
WWE.com has a Royal Rumble Odds page where they will rate the participating, wrestlers' chances of winning throughout the rest of this week clear up until the afternoon of the event! Here's KANE's "odds" as of this posting:
