source: WWE.com - 48 hours after their tag match at Judgment Day, The Miz met ECW Champion Kane on Tuesday night. Despite a list of injuries Miz took time before the match to list - a concussion, sore back, stiff neck and constant headaches - he none the less was ready to seek retribution for being brutally chokeslammed by the Big Red Machine at Judgment Day, and this time he meant to beat Kane.

Kane immediately attacked Miz and started beating on his injured body parts. Not a great idea to announce your injuries to the world just before facing Kane - Good point mad by Adamle. Miz tried to make a comeback, but Kane dumped him to the floor where Miz rammed him back-first into the ringpost. Back in the ring, Miz worked on Kane's back and upper neck and Kane countered with a sidewalk slam for a nearfall. After nailing a flying clothesline, Kane called for the end, but Miz elbowed out of a chokeslam grip, which seemed to piss Kane off to no end. He laid into Miz then hung him upside down in the corner and tried to snap his neck. Ref reached a five count and he DQ'ed Kane for not breaking in the corner. Before The Miz could even realize his DQ victory, let alone celebrate, The Big Red Machine chokeslammed him ring center then set about placing his neck in a steel chair, but Morrison slid in to save his partner from Kane's wrath.

At the beginning of the night, Estrada set up the tag match as a preview of the Singapore Cane Match at One Night Stand – where every active former ECW Champion will compete to determine the No. 1 Contender to Kane’s ECW Championship at Night of Champions on June 29th. John Morrison & Chavo Guerrero teamed up against CM Punk & Tommy Dreamer in a tag match that was interrupted in a “Big” way when Big Show stormed into the arena to remind everyone that he himself is also a former ECW Champion and should have been invited to compete in the match. Angered by ECW General Manager Armando Estrada’s faux pas, the World’s Largest Athlete took out his aggression on the ring full of champions. First, he viciously chokeslammed Chavo and CM Punk, and then tossed Morrison across the ring like a rag doll. Finally, after declaring he will once again be ECW Champion, Big Show chokeslammed ECW Original Tommy Dreamer to the canvas. Now, with the World’s Largest Athlete added into the mix, the competition just got a heck of a lot bigger – 400 more pounds.
